At The Child Development Center of America, our knowledgeable and experienced staff plays an important role in achieving successful outcomes. We are proud that our administration has worked together for so many years. The students who have been mentored through our program have gone on to many responsible and worthwhile occupations in children’s health.
Karen Vossen
Practice Administrator
Karen has been with the practice since our inception in 2009. A special needs parent herself, she provides instructions for medication, follow-up appointments, educational concerns and directs many of our patients to appropriate ancillary services. Feel free to call and speak with Karen to discover a practice concerned with exhibiting kindness and friendship within such a complicated condition.
In addition, Karen has instituted an in-house mentoring program for challenged students who are graduating out of the school system.
One of our parents summed it up best when she wrote: “Thank you so much for your kind acts and thoughtfulness. The dedication you have for your patients is exceptional and greatly appreciated as well.”

Ben Roberts
Nurse Practicioner
Ben has been a registered nurse since 2007. He has cared for adult and pediatric populations in emergent and non-emergent environments throughout his career. During his career and throughout his education, Ben has participated in healthcare education that addresses vulnerable populations of all ages.
In 2019, he met Dr. Udell during a pediatric rotation for his Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree and immediately became intrigued with Dr. Udell’s approach to Autism and ADHD children. Ben has a son on the spectrum, so making a difference with affected children and adults has become a priority. Ben graduated with honors in August 2019, and has been interning with the The Child Development Center ever since to continue his education about autism and ADHD diagnosis and treatment.
